The worst of the recession in the US is over (for some.)   It's been a few years, but you can now afford to get back to your regular patronizing of your local Starbucks.  As you order your morning caffeine the barista asks if you'd like to help Starbucks create more USA-based jobs.

In fact, it's the 25th anniversary of fair trade! (3BL Media/Justmeans) – Walmart’s inaugural Sustainable Product Expo has brought together more than a dozen global corporations to sign new pledges that push innovation in sustainable food production and recycling. Eight of the largest food companies have announced commitments to help ensure that future supply of food in the world becomes affordable and sustainable through collaboration and efficiency across the food system by 2050.
